Stallion Student Leaders– Students in the 4th grade are selected by our staff in the fall and spring semesters to participate in this program that develops leadership skills as they assist in variety of ways on our campus.
Stallion Safety Patrol– Safety Patrol is a 3rd and 4th grade leadership group that promotes safety throughout Snyder Elementary. Teachers nominate students who are courteous, dependable, and positive.
Stallion Success Mentor Program– Students chosen for this program will have a staff mentor on campus to provide additional support throughout the year. Support will be given for both academic and social needs.
Girls On the Run– Girls On the Run is an after-school program for 3rd and 4th grade girls. Each lesson encourages positive emotional, social, mental, and physical development. Participants explore and discuss their own beliefs around experiences and challenges girls face at this age. They also develop important strategies and skills to help them navigate life experiences. We start with helping the girls get a better understanding of who they are and what’s important to them. Then, we look at the importance of teamwork and healthy relationships. And, finally, the girls explore how they can positively connect with and shape the world.
Watch D.O.G.S.– Who are Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students)? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father-figures serving at least one day on campus each year under the leadership of a program coordinator and under the guidance of a school counselors.
