Dear Snyder Families,
December is here! Cooler temperatures… disappearing daylight. Now that the winter months are upon us, please be sure your child is dressed for the weather on a daily basis. Most days we go outside for recess, and it is important that they come to school with a coat on the cooler days.
The upcoming weeks can be very exciting and can
sometimes become quite overwhelming as families prepare for the holidays and special traditions. As much as we’d all like to feel that we are organized and well-prepared for the upcoming weeks, each family deals with the stress of the holidays in different ways. Routines often fall to the wayside along with daily reading practices, consistent homework support, and even family meals. Consistency with a good night’s sleep and being to school on time will help prepare our students for all the learning and excitement this month.
Early Release Friday, December 15th @ 12:10pm and Winter break begins on December 18th – Students return on January 3rd
On behalf of Snyder Elementary staff, I want to wish all our families a safe, joyous, and wonderful holiday season!
Sincerely,
Crystal Poncho
Principal
